WHAT A DISPATCH PARTNER DOES

Understand the dispatch relationship before you get started.

HUDSON CARRIER GUIDE

Load sourcing and evaluation

A dispatcher helps identify opportunities that fit your equipment and operating preferences, and presents relevant load details for your decision.

Broker communication and paperwork

Support can include rate negotiation, carrier setup coordination, rate confirmations, and collecting delivery documents. The agreed service scope determines what is included.

You retain operational control

You approve bookings and remain responsible for safe operations, equipment, hours, and load acceptance. A dispatcher cannot guarantee suitable freight or a particular income.

Confirm pricing in writing

Hudson’s commission range is 5–10% per booked load. Confirm the percentage, calculation basis, invoice schedule, and all other terms before onboarding.

Agree on communication

Confirm at least two dedicated dispatch contacts, how updates will be shared, and coverage arrangements. Ask who to contact when the primary dispatcher is unavailable.
